As a former visual merchandiser and buyer for a high-end boutique, I developed unique skills in organization, design, and efficient handling of large quantities of items. I'd transform spaces, create cohesive displays, and manage seasonal inventories worth up to $75K. These abilities, combined with my BFA in Craft and Material Studies, gave me a keen eye for value and aesthetics.
When I became a co-executor of my mother's estate, I realized how these skills translated surprisingly well to estate management. I could efficiently organize, categorize, and liquidate items while staging the house for sale.
This experience led me to create a new role: a space maker and transformational life coach. I combine my visual merchandising skills (organization and design) with life coaching to help people navigate the emotional and practical challenges of estate preparation and executor duties.
My goal is to ease the hardship of clearing a house, whether it's to move in and make it your own or prepare it for the market. I help clients organize belongings, recognize valuable items, and make decisions about what to keep or let go. The life coaching aspect supports people through the emotional journey, turning a potentially overwhelming experience into one of personal growth and meaningful legacy-building.
By merging my background in visual merchandising with my personal experience as an executor and my life coaching certification, I've pioneered a unique approach to estate organization and planning. I call this process "Clearing the Heir" - it's about creating space not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too, allowing for a smoother transition during life's challenging passages.
